Just got back from a nice little walk down the neighborhood. The sun's just going down, and it's about eighty degrees. We decided to take a stroll down to Amy's, to take a break from the computer room. Super nice day, and we wound up sitting on the sidewalk outside the japanese place next to Amy's, eating some super tasty ice cream sandwich flavored ice cream, listening to the pretty rockin' blues band coming out of the Continental Club next door. In January. Austin ain't that bad.
The sky was really nice today, too - I got a picture of it this evening, but it was really awesome this morning when I went out to the gym, and the sun was just coming up. (The best way to guarantee something cool to look at is to forget to bring my camera with me somewhere.) Did about an hour on the elliptical machine this morning, listening to my BBC Lord of the Rings CDs, then some weights. I'm so freakin' tired. I'm not sure who thought this gym thing was a good idea, but I think I need to find them and have a little talk about it.
Hm. Tai chi class started half an hour ago. Guess we're not making it tonight. Saturday morning, maybe.
(January 09, 2003 04:23 PM)Have you been to a taiji class yet?
Posted by: brian on January 10, 2003 12:27 PMDuh, I read a little further down. No, you haven't. You should really go hang with the Castleberry Bujinkan Dojo crew, they're not that far away. Well, maybe after you do a little more spinning to get into shape.
