I haven't sat down to type a lot for a good long time. No writing, no coding, no nothin'. Mostly busy with house stuff, or taking a break from doing house stuff.
So, I'm doing a bit of work for the new Austin roller derby site - all sorts of background drama that I'm not even going to try to get into here - and writing the first Perl that I've written pretty much since a month or two before we moved. Okay, a little thing here and there, but nothing that required typing for more than a minute straight. My wrists are all stiff and hurty now, after like 30 minutes. Decrepit and out of practice. Bah.
More fun home improvement updates later.

We got the fake wall/bookshelf project mostly wrapped up. It matches the rest of the room almost perfectly, and has two bookshelves and a bar built into it. Tonight, we pick up a futon frame and piece it together.
Party over the weekend to celebrate the bar gettin' put in - next project is the dj booth.
Once the booth is in, I can work on the computer setup and hopefully get some pix.
