My right wrist has been hurting a lot lately, so I'm trying to cut down on the typing some. Which sucks a lot, considering all the writing I have to do in the next couple of weeks. Ow, ow, ow.
The replacement screw for the lathe finally showed up from JET, after a month and a half or so of sitting around. All fixed up now.
I picked up Freelancer today, to continue the game research. It's pretty fun, and has some interesting gameplay elements in it - as much as we hate the Microsoft, they do tend to put out some pretty damn decent games. The gamefly subscription is working out really well, too. For twenty bucks a month, I get to swap out two games at a time, pretty much as fast as I can play them. And if a game really sucks ass, like XIII did, I don't feel bad about not finishing it and sending it back. And then they send me a new, potentially non-sucky game! That's what I call a deal.
Lots more landscaping work. Hauling around bags of topsoil and potting soil and mulch and dillo dirt and all sorts of crap, digging in the limestone-riddled yard, and the howdy. Got the dead bushes on the side of the yard replaced, so the people across the street don't have to look at my pasty ass if we forget to pull down the shades in the morning. Next, gravel shopping.
Okay, that's enough. Wrist brace time.
