So, yeah. Bad. Really bad. At least it's over now.
You're going to see it anyway, so there's a couple things to look forward to: the fairly cool space battle at the very beginning, and Darth Wharfin. If you're fortunate enough to live in Austin, make sure to see it at the Alamo Drafthouse - at least you'll get to see some fun stuff beforehand, like bits of the Clone Wars cartoons, clips from the Star Wars Christmas Special, the appearance of Mark Hammill, C3PO, R2D2, and Chewbacca on the Muppet Show, the reader's digest version of the Turkish Star Wars, and bits and pieces of Harrison Ford on David Letterman, the Star Wars musical someone put on, and much, much more.
Well, at least it was better than the Hitchhiker's Guide movie. Eeesh. I need to go bleach some input organs now.
Oh yeah, I forgot. The other thing the Drafthouse has that other theaters don't is a special Star Wars menu. Nowhere else will you be able to watch this movie, drink beer, and eat a big plate of Boba Fettuccine. Seriously.
(May 19, 2005 11:22 PM)That Turkish Star Wars is fucking awesome. It's the Citizen Kane of Turkish rip-off cinema, though the Turkish Exorcist is a close second.
Posted by: db on May 20, 2005 03:16 AMI'm partial to the Turkish Spider-Man, myself, but that's just because they make him a bad guy, who fights Captain America.
