Last night, we went to see Clay, a friend of Dave and Mel's, play at Whiskey Bar, downtown. Not bad. Afterwards, it was Magnolia Cafe for pie. Sitting at a nearby table was the guy who does the photo shoots for the derby girls, and his pals, Enigma and Katzen. Turns out, Katzen has a tattoo parlor, Incredible Ink Tattoo, right around the corner from us. Crazy. I've been thinking about getting one for a while now - either add some more lines and color to my cutting, or get a nicely designed Elder Sign somewhere. (This one is my favorite.) Maybe I'll stop on by one of these days.
While surfing around, looking for naked pictures of Ann Coulter this morning, I came across a column she wrote about gun control stuff. I'm an NRA member, myself, but I still think a lot of the wacky right-wing crap that goes along with the gun thing is, well, crap. While reading the article, it sort of clicked that the same crazy republicans pushing the whole Big Brother TIA thing (Total Information Awareness) are the same ones who freak out when you talk about gun registration. Just seems like a fun button to push next time that issue comes up one way or the other.
(And no, I never found the naked pictures.)
Yesterday, I got 100% completion in GTA:Vice City. Super fun, but I'm pretty done there.
Today, I slept, and worked. I think the project is winding down - it should be, since we officially launch today. Should just be bug fixes from here on out, and that shouldn't take up too much time. Now, to work on non-paying stuff.
Bernie made lemon bars. Mmmm, lemon-y.
